2017 Ford F-150 Raptor revealed in Detroit
Ford launched the 2017 F-150 Raptor at the 2015 North American International Auto Show.
Under the hood, gone is the 6.2-litre V8 motor, being replaced by a turbocharged 3.5-litre V6 Ecoboost engine. It is mated to new 10-speed automatic transmission and an all-new four-wheel-drive system with a torque-on-demand transfer case. Ford confirms it will definitely have more than 411 hp which is on the current Raptor.
The F-150 Raptor will have a new Terrain Management System which allows the driver to select between different modes, according to the type of environment. The system changes the powertrain, driveline, traction control system, ABS and AdvanceTrac stability control to provide the best performance for the chosen conditions. It can also be had with an optional Torsen front differential, to further improve off-road ability.
The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is expected to go on sale in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries sometime mid-2016.

I wish Ford had a full size SUV with all these features and looks on the same platform.
