Lexus GS F revealed as 2016 model
While the Lexus GS F-Sport already exists, the true “F” version has just been revealed, ahead of its official debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit soon.
The 2016 Lexus GS F doesn’t look like a lot of work has gone into it, with styling derived from the previous IS-F, pointy headlights hastily retrofitted into the regular GS’s larger headlight slots, and an engine that’s simply taken from the Lexus RC F Coupe.
As such, the GS F plays with a 5.0-litre naturally-aspirated V8 making 467 hp at 7100 rpm and 527 Nm of torque between 4800 and 5600 rpm in a segment where well above 500 horses is the norm nowadays. Heck, there’s even one making 707 hp.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via Lexus’ eight-speed automatic transmission. Lexus also fitted its Torque Vectoring Differential from the RC F, which offers three modes to alter torque delivery to better suit different driving dynamics. Weighing in at 1834 kg, it isn’t a lightweight either, but to be fair, given how the regular GS drives, the GS F will probably handle pretty nicely as well.
Expect a GCC launch sometime early next year.

One Word: Weak.
This is like the an E-500 with an AMG Package.
Lexus needs an E63, an M5 competitor!
