2015 Volvo V60 Cross Country debuts at Los Angeles
The 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show was one of the more prominent end-of-the-year car shows this year with a host of new releases. And one of those “important” releases was from Volvo, who decided to debut its niche wagon, the V60 Cross Country.
The standard V60 is no lesser of a wagon with its posh looks and sporting attitude. However, the new Cross Country brings in a more masculine grunt than anything else to be honest. For instance, the vehicle will ride on 18 or 19-inch high profile tires and also gets an increased 65 mm ground clearance.
Volvo is also set to offer the V60 Cross Country with either their Drive-E 4-cylinder petrol engine or their 5-cylinder 250 hp engine. We’re not aware of the exact specifications, but it could range from a 1.6-litre to a 2.0-litre engine. In any case, Volvo does tell us that the base model will be driven by the front-wheels, while the 5-cylinder powertrain will provide power for the all-wheel-drive versions.
The model is expected to be launched sometime early next year in the American market. However, we’re guessing it may not even come to the GCC.
