2015 Fiat 500X world premiere at Paris Motor Show
The 2015 Fiat 500X made its world debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. The compact crossover becomes the sixth member of the 500 family.
The engine line-up features the 140 hp 1.4-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, the 120 hp 1.6-litre – both of which comes in front-wheel drive and a 6-speed manual. A 140 hp 2.0-litre will come with a 9-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive.
The range will later be completed by the 110 hp 1.6-litre “E-torQ”, which will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive. The 170 hp 1.4-litre turbocharged unit and the 184 hp 2.4-litre motor get a 9-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The 140 hp 1.4-litre turbocharged engine will be available with front-wheel drive and dual clutch 6-speed automatic transmission.
Also available will be the following turbodiesels: the 95 hp 1.3-litre with a 5-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive, and the 140 hp 2.0-litre with a 6-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive.
For this region, the 2015 500X will most likely be sold with the 2.4-litre engine. The Italian crossover could make its debut in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries by the beginning of next year.
