2016 Dodge Viper could get 800 hp and convertible version
Recent rumours have popped up that the 2016 Dodge Viper SRT could get a power upgrade and a cabriolet version.
The Viper is back under the Dodge nameplate for the 2015 model year, which received a modest 5 hp bump. With the recent introductions of the Charger and Challenger HellCat versions, the Viper apparently has no intention of being left behind, as Allpar recently reported a supercharged version of the 8.4-litre V10 could be in the works, good enough to produce 800 hp.
Dodge will also be hoping to improve sales with a Viper convertible version also rumoured for a mid-2015 launch.

This horsepower war is getting out of hand… the HP in some of the cars coming out is beyond allowing the person to enjoy the car and worrying about being catapulted into the scenery

True.
How many people utilize such cars’ Maximum HP anyway?
