Hyundai Xcent coming to UAE and other Middle East markets

2014 Hyundai Xcent
The 2014 Hyundai Xcent is a new mini-sedan that’s built and recently introduced in India. Now the word is that it is coming to the UAE, aside from several other Middle East markets.

According to IndianAutoBlog, exports have already started, although it remains to be seen if the cars land here or straight to North African markets.

The Xcent is essentially a sedan to go with the Hyundai i10 hatchback, designed to be under 4 metres in length to gain tax benefits in India, much like the Suzuki Swift DZire sedan and the Ford Ecosport.

In India, the car is offered with an 81 hp 1.2-litre 4-cylinder mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic.

Assuming the car is coming here, we’d expect a base price of less than Dhs 40,000.

Keep track of future price updates in the Hyundai buyer guide.

  1. I guess this will be a hit for those L/100KM maniacs if it cost this much and have a very low L/100KM rate… there’s other cars in this region but interior features or price does not satisfy the L/100KM rate…
