Nissan Patrol 2014 official launch event held in UAE
The 2014 Nissan Patrol had its official launch in the UAE, with an event in Ras Al Khaimah. The facelifted model isn’t far removed from the outgoing version, and as such retains its offroad capabilities.
The all-new Nissan Patrol comes with a new front bumper and a new front grille pattern with chrome. The higher models get a more upright “City” bumper. New optional 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with day-time running lamps and pop-up headlamp washers, new LED rear combination lamps and roof rails round out the changes. The 2014 Nissan Patrol also comes with an updated version of the AroundView Monitor with parking assist display and rear sensors.
The Patrol continues to be available with two 5.6-litre V8 engine options, either a 320 hp or a 400 hp one, with a 7-speed automatic transmission and hydraulic body motion control suspension.
Arabian Automobiles, the Nissan dealer for Dubai and the Northern Emirates, has recorded the best year of sales for Nissan Patrol since the current shape was launched in 2010. By the end of 2013, Arabian Automobiles confidently forecasts it will achieve a 45% growth in Nissan Patrol sales for 2013 compared with 2012. The rise in demand apparently significantly outperforms the overall large SUV market increase in the UAE of 25% for 2013.
