Harley-Davidson UAE open house does charity and debuts 2014 Project Rushmore models

2013 Harley Davidson UAE Open Day
Harley-Davidson Middle East and North Africa wrapped up its Open Day in UAE last week with a showcase of new 2014 models in the presence of 1,000 riders and members of the Harley-Davidson community under the banner “Come Together, Change Lives.”

The Open Day, held on 25th October 2013, saw enthusiasts ride out in parade and support the United Nations World Food Programme for the third consecutive year. Riders were also invited to purchase Harley-Davidson pins, with proceeds going the UN’s World Food Programme.

A highlight of the day was Harley-Davidson leading the Thunder Parade — a signature part of the Gulf Bike Week that saw over 1200 riders from across the region come down to participate.

2014 Harley Davidson Touring Project Rushmore

The Open House in UAE unveiled a line of new motorcycles for 2014 that include touring bikes and trikes from Harley-Davidson’s Project Rushmore. After years of engineering and talking to its customers, the project’s additions to the Harley-Davidson line for 2014 include seven Touring, Trike and Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) models.

Other additions and enhancements to the 2014 Harley-Davidson line include a limited-production factory-custom CVO Softail Deluxe, a restyled Dyna Fat Bob model, and the introduction of ABS brakes for all Sportster models (excluding the Iron 883).
