Renault Duster-based 2014 Nissan Terrano revealed
It’s clearly not a Pathfinder, nor is it your average Duster. But what we have here is essentially a visual cross between the two — the new Nissan Terrano.
And, the new Nissan has appeared in production form after a launch that reportedly happened in India a few weeks back. Still, from what we can see, the Terrano is clearly just a slightly upscale version of the Duster, which it is based on.
The Terrano, apart from benefiting from Nissan’s corporate grille, also seems to have a slightly different rear end and blacked-out door pillars. And we think it’s more appealing visually than the Renault, which by the way, also receives a minor facelift this year. It also gets a prettier interior.
Despite that, we wouldn’t be surprised if this was manufactured in India. With the success of the Renault Duster, there is every possibility that the Nissan Terrano could be offered in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries in the future, with Nissan already supplying the Indian-manufactured Sunny and Micra in this region. Howver, it’s not coming here any time soon.

how much more expensive is this from the duster?
Alvin Emmanuel Thomas
No word. But we’re guessing something around the Juke’s price.

If thats the case, i think the duster will be a much more valued oriented bet. I am not shelling out 75k for a rebadged duster.

I read some where on web it will cost somewhere 80k..

Any pricing you’ve read about is completely wrong, because according to my dealer sources, it’s not coming here any time in the next year or two, if at all.

This thing costs only 50000rs / 3000 dhs more than the equivalent duster in india …
