2014 BMW 4-Series Coupe makes official debut
The BMW 4-Series Coupe has been officially released and is set to go on sale later this year. BMW will offer the 4-Series in two variants, the 428i and the 435i.
The BMW 428i will get a turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine which produces 240 hp and 345 Nm of torque. The 435i will get the turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-6 cylinder engine with 300 hp and 406 Nm of torque. Both have the option of a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 428i can hit from 0-100 kph in about 6 seconds, whereas the 435i can do from 0-100 kph in 5.5 seconds with the manual transmission and about 5.2 seconds with the 8-speed auto. Top speed for both models has been electronically limited to 250 kph.
An entry-level BMW 420i will debut later on in the year, which will have a 4-cylinder 2.0-litre engine producing about 184 hp.
The new BMW 4-series Coupe should hit showrooms in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other GCC countries by winter.

More like the Caddy ATS is targeted at the old 3-Series.

Exterior looks quite nice, but that interior somehow still doesnt do it for me. Best BMW still on the market is the 6 series GC

The red color is the problem.

4 Series, wait! Lemme get my wallet.

again the problem here is pricing, in the US this starts at 41k $, here it will be almost 75% more..BMW here is more expensive than Mercedes unlike the rest of the planet

Are you talking about pricing in KSA? I didn’t know this…I assumed the cars would be similarly priced to US prices?
Hassan
Nice car..
However, they should have made a 5 series coupe to compete with the Mercedes E Coupe and Audi.
This one looks more like an extended 3 series coupe; I didn’t get why the need a BMW 4 series when they have the 3 series coupe?
Faisal Khatib
A 5 series coupe is called the 6 series and on similar grounds the 3 series coupe is the called the 4 series now.
Hassan
Makes more sense if true..
