Toyota 86 gets some accessories in Germany
Toyota Motor Company has brought to the market a new range of accessories for the Toyota 86, that too in Germany of all places.
The exteriors of your 86 can now be adorned with body stripes, carbon-fibre mirror caps and a variety of larger-than-standard 18-inch alloy wheels. For added aggression, the ride height can be lowered by over an inch.
The cabin insides can be upgraded with Toyota’s Touch&Go navigation system that is enabled with Google local search. The upgrade also comes with Bluetooth/USB/iPod connectivity. Audiophiles get to opt for a JBL audio system as well.
Around here, The Toyota 86 in the GCC will eventually be offered with a TRD kit that includes, a new front apron, side skirts and a quad-tip exhaust.

The TRD version can be seen at the Festival City showroom. According to the sales person there, the white one has been bought by the Sheikh of Dubai.
I test drove the 115k spec one. The car is way too small (even the trunk with the over-sized tire). the engine sounds nice, but it makes too much noise for a car that is not that fast. Sorry, but for that much money I would rather go for the Gti which is way more practical and refined.
If i was searching for a track car, or even a second car, then I would have gotten the 86.
