Dodge Ram 2012 police version reports for duty in U.S.

This is the 2012 Dodge Ram in full police-package livery. It will be offered for sale to United States police forces as a “special services” truck.

This 2012 Ram is being offered with the 390 hp 5.7-litre “Hemi” V8 and four-wheel-drive, with upgrades such as a 220-amp alternator for police lights and gadgets, as well as upgrades to handle extra weight of police equipment and a 3.92 axle ratio for better acceleration, the latter seemingly hinting at pursuit capabilities.
