2012 Nissan Maxima mid-life facelift
The Nissan Maxima for 2012 gets a mid-life facelift with no price increase in the US at least. The exterior touch-ups is in the form of a new front grille design, new rear combination lights, two new exterior colours (Java Metallic and Dark Slate) and new 18-inch and 19-inch aluminium-alloy wheels.
On the inside you get new meter cluster illumination colour (white), range of new interior trims (Dark Piano-hairline, Atlantic Cherry wood tone and a new metallic-finish) and interior colour (Cafe Latte), a new audio segment display and audio/HVAC knob design. No changes have been made under the hood.
In addition, the Maxima is available with a Limited Edition Package featuring smoked appearance headlights, HID Xenon headlights, a compass in the rear-view mirror, 18-inch aluminium-alloy Dark Hyper Silver finish wheels, a rear spoiler, dark satin chrome front grille, fog lights, outside mirrors with integrated turn signals and metallic trim. All for a equivalent price of AED2,600.
Expect the 2012 Maxima with or without the Limited Edition Package to hit UAE, Saudi and GCC roads by the end of 2011.

Not a very interesting car if you ask me.. Theres nothing outstanding or special about its design or driving experience compared to rivals..
It feels more like a car built just to exist in semi-premium car segment but does not compete with rivals in any special way.

They call it a 4 door sports car. But the CVT kills all the fun. Only the response from standstill is good.

In the US they have 2012 Maxima with a panoramic roof, does anyone think this will be made available in GCC specsifications?
