Mercedes-Benz S-Class 2011 upgrade by Inden Design

Inden Design has decided to make the 2011 Mercedes-Benz S500 to look more like the S65 AMG version. It’s probably because the price of the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG is insanely high and this will offer consumers the same level of sporty looks but without the same level of oomph, not that we are saying this will be any cheaper. Performance is improved slightly, so it’s not all cosmetic.

The main source of the power boost is the addition of the stainless steel exhaust system. It increases output of the 5.5-litre V8 engine to 420 hp, up by 37 hp from the standard S500. The brake system is upgraded too, Inden Design taking the one from the Mercedes-Benz S600 V12. Ride is lowered 50 mm and wider tyres ride on some new rims.

Interior gets a makeover, the wood trim replaced with some carbon-fibre panels. Two-tone Alcantara covers the seats. And a new speedometer is added as well, the dial showing a new maximum speed of 360 kph.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been ever popular in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and other GCC countries.

Keep track of prices and updates on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class buyer guide.
