Cadillac CTS Coupe and CTS-V Coupe 2011 ready in GCC

The 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe and CTS-V Coupe are now available to pre-order at Cadillac showrooms across the Middle East, and will start arriving in the GCC this September.

Seemingly on an accelerated time-table, the Coupe made its regional debut at the 10th Dubai International Motor Show in December 2009 as a concept car, and now is almost ready to hit the roads of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and the UAE.

The design of the Coupes remains virtually unchanged from the concept car. The CTS-V Coupe uses the same 556 hp 6.2-litre V8 engine as the super-fast sedan, while the CTS Coupe uses its sedan equivalent’s 304 hp 3.6-litre V6.

General Motors Middle East had generously offered us a trip to Lebanon for the launch event, which we respectfully declined, but we’ve been promised press test cars as soon as they’re ready in Dubai.

Keep track of UAE prices and GCC specs in the Cadillac CTS buyer guide.

What do you think?

Didn’t want visa hassles in the middle of my wedding month. The last (Nissan) foreign trip I attempted to go to was a disaster due to late paperwork.

Haha, right. I’ll be “working” on my wedding day too. I “worked” on my engagement day this Friday.

  6. Bad timing. You won’t be able to complain that they didn’t invite you 🙂

    Congratulations on the engagement.
