Volvo S80, V70 & XC60 get new engines in UAE
Volvo has introduced upgraded versions of their turbo and non-turbo engine offerings. The new 6-cylinder engines will become available in various 2011 Volvo models.
The top-spec Volvo S80 T6, Volvo V70 T6 and Volvo XC60 T6 models will get an updated 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbocharged engine from the new Volvo S60, good for 304 hp and 440 Nm of torque between 2100 rpm and 4200 rpm. All four get 6-speed automatic gearboxes and all-wheel-drive as standard.
Lower models feature an updated 3.2-litre 6-cylinder naturally-aspirated engine, offering 243 hp and 320 Nm of torque.
Among the other new features in the 2011 Volvo S80, V70 and XC60 line-up are new exterior colours, new range of wheel rims, and colour-coded lower body panels as standard, among other small changes.
The 2011 range will be available in the UAE by the end of September 2010.
