BMW X5 2011 released in UAE and Saudi Arabia

The facelifted 2011 BMW X5 has reached showrooms in Saudi Arabia, UAE and other GCC countries. While externally largely similar to the outgoing model, the real news is the adoption of turbocharged engines.

Coming straight out of the X6 and 5-Series GT, the 2011 X5 now comes in a 306 hp turbocharged 3.0-litre inline-6 xDrive35i trim and a 407 hp turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 xDrive50i trim, replacing the xDrive30i and the xDrive48i naturally-aspirated models.
