Hyundai Genesis Coupe now on sale in UAE
As Zao, one of our readers, pointed out, the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe has quietly gone on sale in the UAE, without so much as a launch event or even a marketing campaign.
However, the GCC-spec Genesis Coupe will only be available as a fully-optioned V6 automatic model. That means the rear-wheel-drive sports car will come with 18-inch wheels, leather seats, cruise control, sunroof, HID headlights, 10-speaker Infinity audio and Brembo brakes.
The 306 hp 3.8-litre V6 engine offers 360 Nm of torque, and is mated to a 6-speed automatic. The V6 manual and the 210 hp turbo 4-cylinder engine will not be offered as of now.
The top-spec V6 model is priced at Dhs 110,000 in Dubai showrooms.

I’ve seen this in the sedan versio, the new tucson and new sorento. But was is the advantage of a floor mounted throttle?

My old Mercedes had it, and so does my BMW. Can’t recall on my other cars. It the German way. And no issues of reaching the pedal barefoot while resting my heel on the floor. But biggest reason would be easier heal-&-toe downshifting in a manual.

Finally… Im looking forward from more options to come for this car… Probably this will bring back cheap RWD performance…

I seen the Sedan it didnt have alot of option like the ones in the USA and it not very good design.
110K look okay with market at the begining of the year but I think it will go down further

110k, hmm could have been a bit lower. bring in a proper manual tranny @#$%$#%
Zao
actually it was 125K but they wanted to sell initial few pieces and penetrate the market so they just brought the price down…morover they have only few nos of 09 model and by jan they bringing 10 model…most probably that would be having navigation and paddle shifters…anyways its a real value for money sports car….non of the reviews said bad about this car and its been compared to G37….
Zao
in american specs brembo brakes and spoiler comes only with the track versions with manual gear…here its std in auto version…

it is a nice car, but the only issue would be value for money i mean its a hyundai?? at the end i dont think it would fetch you an acceptable return. 110K with the track pack seems fair enuff. but would it stand against the honda coupe 3.5?
syed
and dont forget its a 3.8 litre. its to bad they could chern 300 bhp.. from a 3.8 litre should have made it a 2.0 or 2.5 turbo.. in that way you could play aroung with the tuning part ? i have read the 4.6 litre v8 (435bhp) could be a possibility

I saw this car in the showroom, and i am in love with his car !!!
