AW Rostamani UAE to sell Platin car batteries

AWR Trading, part of the AW Rostamani Group, has signed an agreement with Platin Battery to be the sole distributors of their products in the UAE. Platin Battery is the export brand of Yigit Aku A. S., a leading battery manufacturer established in Turkey in 1976.

Mr. Mahmut Yigit, Board member of Yigit Aku formally signed the agreement with Mr. Khalid Al Rostamani, Vice Chairman, AW Rostamani Group (holding company of AWR Trading) yesterday at a ceremony in Dubai.

Commenting on the agreement, Yigit said, “Yigit Aku is happy to strengthen our relationship with AWR Trading through this exclusive distributorship agreement, which signifies the commitment of both companies to provide the best quality after market products to consumers. Platin is a battery brand that is in high demand in many countries around the world and we are positive AWR Trading is the ideal distributor to promote and sell our product in the region.”

Yigit Aku is the Original Equipment supplier of batteries for Nissan and Renault vehicles. AWR Trading will expand the distributorship agreement with Platin Battery to further GCC and Middle East countries in the near future.
