Al Ghandi Chevrolet Xbox soccer content winner in UAE
While parent company General Motors is on the verge of bankruptcy this week, Chevrolet partnered with Xbox 360 and crowned the winner of the Middle East’s largest gaming tournament at Al Ghandi Auto showroom on Friday May 29th, in a bid to sell cars to kids apparently. Adnan Al Malki from Saudi Arabia earned his exciting grand prize, which is an upcoming 2010 Chevrolet Cruze.
The GCC-based Chevrolet Pro Evolution Soccer Cup 2009 kicked off in Dubai on 27 March and toured the Middle East region during the past two months, visiting the Chevrolet showrooms in the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, across seven cities.
The winner of each city stop received a cash prize equivalent of AED 5,000, an airline ticket to Dubai and qualified for a place in the Grand final.
Adnan Al Malki , lucky winner of the Chevrolet Cruze 2010 said: “I am extremely happy to be the winner of the PES Cup 2009 in the region; and I am even happier because I am going back home with the stunning 2010 Chevrolet Cruze!”
The all-new Chevrolet Cruze will be available in the Middle East later this year. The Cruze sedan “raises the bar for design appeal, build quality and running refinement in the Middle East’s compact segment.” The Cruze line-up comprises of 1.6 and 1.8-litre, all-aluminium gasoline engines.
