2007 Chevrolet Tahoe gets Z71 pack

The redesigned 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe has received the Z71 off-road package, which more or less improves the Tahoe’s capabilities in the middle of nowhere.

The package includes a redesigned front fascia featuring larger recovery hook openings, larger rectangular fog lamps, special grille and platinum chrome grille trim. Eighteen-inch wheels and on-road/off-road tyres also are part of the package. The approach angles have increased to 24 degrees and a skid plate is included. The V8 engine remains the same.

We’d love to try out this mean machine, but our recent email request to GM for a test-drive vehicle went unheeded. So we chose to get a BMW this week instead. More on that soon.
