The Volvo V40 is the Swedish company's 5-door hatchback offering, facelifted for 2017 with new headlights and other minor trim changes. The V40 T5 is fitted with a turbocharged 2.0-litre 4-cylinder for the Middle East. It is connected to a 8-speed automatic. In 2019, the V40 T3 was offered which gets a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit mated to a 6-speed automatic. Variants beyond the regular V40 include the V40 R-Design model with a sporty body kit and unique wheels and a Polestar version with more power. All versions are front-wheel-drive. Features include fuel-saving auto start-stop tech, power windows, electric mirrors, CD/MP3 stereo, cloth or leather upholstery, 17-inch or 18-inch alloy wheels and other basics, with options such as HID headlights, sunroof, navigation and all that.
