The third-generation Volkswagen Tiguan came as a 2024 model. There are two 4-cylinder turbocharged engines in the 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan, one a 1.4-litre and the other a 2.0-litre, but available in two different states of tune. The front-wheel-drive 1.4 engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic 'DSG' gearbox, whereas the all-wheel-drive 2.0 gets the 7-speed 'DSG' gearbox.
The 2026 Volkswagen Tiguan has seating for five, with a split-folding 60:40 rear bench, and has multiple position settings for the seatback.
