2026 Toyota GR Yaris

The Toyota GR Yaris is a high-performance, three-door hot hatch developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing, created to bring genuine rally technology to the road. Designed as a homologation model for the World Rally Championship, the GR Yaris stands apart from conventional hot hatches with its bespoke platform, lightweight construction and advanced all-wheel-drive system.

Engine & Performance

Power comes from a 1.6-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine (G16E-GTS), one of the most powerful production units of its kind. In its latest specification, the engine produces up to 280 hp and 400 Nm of torque, delivering strong acceleration and an engaging, high-revving character. Buyers can choose between a 6-speed intelligent manual transmission (iMT) or a newly developed 8-speed GAZOO Racing Direct Automatic Transmission.
