2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI

Finally making its official debut in the GCC, the rally-bred Subaru Impreza WRX STI landed for the 2008 model year with a hatchback-only body and no warranty. By 2010, it could finally be bought with a warranty. The sedan came for 2011. The standard engine is a 2.5-litre turbocharged and intercooled horizontally-opposed 4-cylinder, mated to a 6-speed manual and Subaru's 'symmetrical' all-wheel-drive system. In 2011, a minor range-wide facelift debuted along with the sedan, as well as a 5-speed automatic option. An SI-DRIVE system offers three modes, namely Intelligent, Sport, and Sport Sharp, with the first mode reducing power and improving fuel economy. The 'Driver Controlled Center Differential,' also known as DCCD, has three automatic modes in addition to allowing manual torque-split adjustment.
