The Cordoba is designed to appeal to sedan customers who like the Ibiza hatchback. Though similar to the Ibiza, it somehow appears a lot more conservative than the Ibiza, and the engine choices here carry forward that notion. It is keeping pace in the market with variations of the original car, by adding new Seat styling features to what is essentially the same car that was launched ages ago. In the Middle East, it is offered with only a VW-derived 1.4-litre four-cylinder engine, with an automatic transmission.
