Nissan Patrol 2023 Overview

The Nissan Patrol was redesigned from the ground up for 2010, and has been mildly facelifted for 2014. In 2017, the major change was the new V6 engine and no manual option was available. In 2018, everything was pretty much the same. In 2019, the Patrol got a host of new accessories which include fender flares, front and rear diffusers and different roof rails. In 2020, it got a major facelift for the front and back, along with major interior tech upgrades and new exterior colour choices. In 2022, it got a minor facelift, with the main change being the interior getting an all-new screen for the infotainment system, as well as new exterior and interior colour choices. Engine options for the 2023 Nissan Patrol include a base 4.0-litre V6 with a 7-speed automatic, known as the Patrol XE or SE, as well as a 5.6-litre V8 with direct injection and a 7-speed automatic, known as the Patrol LE. Depending on trim level, the 7-seater Patrol can be had with standard or optional features such as all-wheel-drive with low-range gearing, hydraulic body motion control system for the suspension, computerised terrain response system, climate-controlled leather seats, infotainment with touchscreen, Apple Carplay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, power rear liftgate, keyless start, adaptive cruise control, 20-inch alloy wheels, power-folding 3rd-row seat, around-view cameras, and a centre console cool-box that can be opened from both 1st & 2nd-row seats. Also available is an Off-road Monitor that provides real-time information such as tyre conditions involving steer angle, slip and pressure, as well as hill start, hill descent, and an electronically-locking rear diff. Most models get a regular offroad-ready front bumper, while the top Platinum "City" trim gets a slightly-lower unique bumper. Safety features in the 2023 Nissan Patrol include two front airbags and numerous side-curtain airbags, stability control and ABS, as well as optional lane-departure warning, tyre-pressure monitor and auto-braking systems.
