Overview
An all-new Nissan Maxima came out in 2016, featuring the company's "V-Motion" front end, boomerang lights and floating roof look. The new chassis is lighter and more rigid than the previous generation. In 2019, the Maxima got a slight facelift. The American-built front-wheel-drive midsizer is powered by the same 3.5-litre V6 as the previous model but updated with 60% new parts. The engine is mated to a CVT transmission with redundant paddle shifters. Inside, the 2020 Nissan Maxima gets a flat-bottomed steering wheel, Alcantara accents and a centre console that is angled 7-degrees toward the driver. It also gets 7-inch Advanced Drive Assist Display in the instrument cluster that can be paired with an optional 8-inch screen with multi-touch control.
