2005 Nissan Altima

The Nissan Altima, released GCC-wide for 2005, is a roomy and practical midsize sedan, competing with the Honda Accord and Toyota Camry with slightly more sporty handling and a little more extrovert styling. The Altima however sits at the top of the class in terms of available horsepower and interior room. Though the 2.5-litre 4-cylinder, with a choice of manual or automatic gearboxes, is enough for most people, it is the 3.5-litre V6, also with a choice of manual or automatic, that makes the Altima a cheap alternative to pricey and slow front-wheel-drive sports sedans from Volvo and Audi.
