Looking like an exotic sports car, but based on more conservative roots, the striking Mitsubishi Eclipse officially debuted for the 2009 model year in the GCC for the first time, after years of grey imports. This version of the Eclipse has actually been around in American markets for years now, and what the GCC gets is the facelifted version with a new grille. Under the hood, the new-for-2009 Eclipse comes with either a 2.4-litre 4-cylinder with a 5-speed manual or automatic, or a 3.8-litre V6 with a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic.
