2009 Mercedes-Benz SL Class

The SL has undergone a major redesign for 2009. Models now include a new 3.0-litre SL 280 base model, the continuing 3.5-litre SL 350, the carryover 5.5-litre SL 500 and the existingtwin-turbo 5.5-litre SL 600 rocketship. Upping the ante are two sport-tuned models, namely the new 6.3-litre SL 63 AMG and the twin-turbo 6.0-litre SL 65 AMG. Interesting features include optional Active Body Control suspension and optional neck-ventilation fan thingies. The redesigned front end sports different headlights and bumper, while the rear is mildly updated by new tail-lights and bumper spoilers. Along with new wheels on the outside, new interior appointments include new materials and colour schemes.
