2014 McLaren MP4 12C Spider

After the MP4-12C coupe marked McLaren Automotive's return to building their own street cars, the MP4-12 C Spider, a hard-top convertible made its debut in late 2012. Their "affordable" supercar is still pricey, but it is positioned as a no-compromises piece of engineering, with a carbon-fibre tub chassis, bespoke 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8, a "pre-cog" 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, an adaptive hydraulic suspension system, an air-brake spoiler, various driving modes and even an F1-developed brake-steer system.
