Overview
The Lexus RX got a minor facelift for 2013, the main change being the new spindle grill being adopted by all the models. Also joining the RX 350, will be a hybrid model called the RX 450h. The RX 350 gets the 3.5-litre V6 with VVT-i variable valve timing, mated to a 6-speed automatic and all-wheel-drive platform. However there is also an F Sport model which gets a bodykit as well as an 8-speed transmission which does not improve performance figures at all. The RX 450h gets a similar 3.5-litre V6 engine combined to three electric motors. The basic model includes front-side airbags, curtain and knee airbags, rear-side airbags, cruise control, CD changer with 9 speakers, powered front seats, wood trim, fabric seats, smart entry and start system, ABS, stability control, 18-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, and HID headlights.
