Overview
The Lamborghini Huracan, named after yet another Spanish fighting bull, officially replaced the Gallardo. With styling inspired from the Aventador, the Huracan LP610-4 is powered by a 5.2-litre direct-injected V10, with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel-drive. The Huracan LP580-2 which came out in 2016, is also powered by the same engine, but slightly detuned and has rear-wheel drive. For 2018, the Huracan Performante was released with higher performance numbers. It features three driving modes as well as a stop-start system, while fuel consumption is now much lower than the Gallardo. Safety standards are high, as it should be, with driver and passenger airbags, ABS, traction control and stability control.
