2025 Jaecoo J8

The Jaecoo J8 is their mid-size offering. Under the hood is a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The engine produces 261 hp and 400 Nm of torque.

Standard features in the J8 include high-quality leatherette upholstery, a three-row layout for up to seven passengers, a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting. In the centre is a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. There are hardly any buttons and climate control settings are through the screen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. There are different drive modes - Eco, Normal, Sport Snow, Sand and Off-Road.

Safety features are aplenty with 7 airbags as standard, and the top trim gets 10 airbags. The top Premium trim also gets Level 2 ADAS features, park assist, 14-speaker Sony audio system, 20-inch rims and tri-zone climate control.
