Ford went back to the drawing board to completely redesign the Ford Five Hundred, and with inspiration from their European division, they came up with an all-new Taurus for 2010. The Ford Taurus receives a mid-cycle makeover for 2013 that includes a refreshed design and numerous exterior and interior upgrades for better fuel economy, more technology and sharpened driving dynamics. The full-size sedan is powered by a carryover 3.5-litre V6 with some fuel-economy enhancements, while being mated to a 6-speed automatic and front-wheel-drive, with all-wheel-drive optional. The Taurus SHO model, with the 3.5-litre turbocharged "EcoBoost" V6 engine and all-wheel-drive returns.
