Overview
Based on a Mazda platform, the Focus is one of the best handling cars in its class. It comes in two different body styles, namely a sedan and a five-door hatchback. The Focus is a popular car in Europe where it is built, and is fairly well-built at that. The hatchback is especially unique, with an aggressively sloping roofline and high-mounted slim tail lamps, while offering a usable load space without wheel arch intrusion. The sedan looks more like the ugly tall small cars running around nowadays. Both the versions cost the same, but all are available in various trim levels. The interior is especially nice, with the centre console being the hub of the interior design. The standard motor is an anaemic 1.6-litre Duratec four-cylinder engine.
