Overview
An all-new Ford Escape made its debut in 2017 in the GCC. This generation Escape is the first Ford vehicle in the world with available SYNC Connect, allowing users to unlock doors, check fuel level and even locate where a vehicle is parked. For the 2019 Ford Escape, two engines are available. The first is carried over from the previous generation, a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine, while the other is a new 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder motor. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The base 2019 Ford Escape model is two-wheel drive, which optional 4-wheel drive is available. The Escape comes standard with cloth seats, power door locks, windows and mirrors, tilt steering column, speed controls on the steering wheel, 17-inch alloy wheels and electric power steering. The Sync 3 infotainment system gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well.
