2009 Dodge Ram

The Dodge Ram, Chrysler's full-size pickup, was given a complete makeover for 2009, although technically it became available in most GCC markets only by 2010. Also, "Ram" became its own separate brand in the States, dropping the "Dodge" name for the pickup line, although it was still referred to as a Dodge Ram in this region until 2011, regardless of what the badges say. The Ram 1500 will only be offered in the GCC with a 5.7-litre "Hemi" V8 mated to a 5-speed automatic with available manual-shift feature. Available in regular cab, quad cab and crew cab, with three box lengths depending on model, the two trim levels available in the UAE are the ST and the Laramie.
