The Dakota is the largest pickup in its class and the only mid-size truck available with a V8. The Dakota looks big, thanks to a complete redesign recently, making it larger than before and making it look almost as big and tough as the full-size Dodge Ram. The standard engine is a 3.7-litre V6. It comes with a six-speed manual transmission. An optional four-speed automatic is available on the higher trim levels.
