2007 Dodge Caliber

Dodge's new entry-level vehicle is a five-passenger hatchback that replaces the Neon sedan and attempts to be a replacement for the common 4WD wagon too. It has a liftgate and split-folding rear seats. All trim levels use a 4-cylinder engine. The base model is a 2.0-litre with CVT automatic. The larger 2.4-litre is available with either manual or CVT. For 2009, the Caliber SRT-4 model was quietly released, with a 2.4-litre turbocharged engine and a 6-speed manual. Available features include a fold-flat front passenger seat, refrigerated glovebox, and removable cargo light/flashlight. Unique features include oddities such as flip-down speakers when the liftgate is open, illuminated cup-holders and a central armrest that moves front and back.
