2006 Cadillac CTS

The CTS builds on Cadillac's push for technology and design innovation, and is a modern interpretation of the striking cars that made Cadillac famous. Built on GM's Sigma rear-wheel-drive architecture, CTS was rigourously tested at the famed Nurburgring racetrack in Germany. The CTS has an entry-level model with a 2.8-litre engine with decent power. The new-for-2005 2.8-litre V6 VVT is a modified version of the better new-for 2004 3.6-litre VVT CTS engine. Braking and suspension capabilities remain the same for both. Both engines can be mated to a six-speed manual transmission, though both are available with the five-speed automatic transmission.
