The Borgward BX7 marks the rebirth of the long-defunct German luxury brand as a Chinese-built crossover. It is a compact crossover powered by a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo 4-cylinder mated to a 6-speed automatic and a choice of front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive. The BX7 comes in S trims with 17-inch alloy wheels, as well as SE and SL trims with 18-inch alloys. There is a choice of 5-seater and 7-seater confingurations, and three levels of leather upholstery, depending on trim. All models get basics such as power windows and mirrors, cruise control, dual-zone automatic a/c, 12.3-inch touchscreen, USB/AUX ports, smart keyless entry and start, LED tail lamps and parking sensors. Higher models get Xenon auto headlights, LED running lights, panoramic glass roof, power folding mirrors, power seats, 360-degree parking camera with sensors, and a 10-speaker stereo with nav.
