Overview
Almost 5 metres long with a low roofline, the Audi A7 Sportback is a full-sizer riding on 18-inch to 20-inch wheels, and as with all Audi sedans, really rides a front-wheel-drive platform, with optional 'Quattro' all-wheel-drive tacked onto the higher trim levels. Two V6 engines are offered in the UAE - a 2.8-litre and a supercharged 3.0-litre, both of which are mated to an 'S-tronic' automatic transmission. An S7 was introduced as a 2013 model with a 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine. Standard options include 4-zone automatic air-conditioning, reverse-camera, MMI touch-sensitive navigation system, 10-speaker audio system. Optional equipment include interior leather packages for the seats and door trim, sports suspension, air suspension, front and reverse camera, park assist, side assist, night-vision, lane-assist and BOSE surround sound.

In the US, there were recalls for improper welds on the fuel rail which may leak, passenger airbag which may deploy improperly and the head curtain airbag which may deploy improperly.
