2011 Aston Martin Rapide

The Rapide is Aston Martin's first foray into the 4-door sedan segment since the disgusting Lagonda many decades ago. Its styling is derivative of every Aston that has come since the Vanquish, only with two extra doors. Powered by a 6.0-litre V12, it comes standard with a 6-speed Touchtronic automatic and rear-wheel-drive. The Rapide has dual climate zones, and the individual rear seats come with their own DVD screens and controls for the audio system and environmental system. One design trait are the frameless 'swan' doors, which swing open slightly upwards, while the rear tailgate technically opens like a liftback. Other available features include navigation, leather upholstery, wood trim, Bluetooth, CD stereo with USB/iPod support, power seats, HID headlights, panoramic glass roof, keyless entry with starter button and a host of other luxury comforts. Safety features include front and side airbags, stability control and ABS.
