2013 Volkswagen Touareg

Though the new-for-2011 Volkswagen Touareg looks a lot like a simple facelift, this is apparently an all-new model compared to the last one. The only petrol engine on offer in this 5-seater at launch is a carryover 3.6-litre V6, and later also with a 4.2-litre V8, both mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive, but now without low-range gearing. This VW is a proper crossover now, with independent four-wheel-suspension and a simple terrain-select system.
