Overview
The Skoda Kodiaq is the VW-owned Czech brand's first proper foray into the crossover market after the van-like Skoda Yeti was cancelled. There is a choice of two engines , one a 1.4-litre turbo in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive forms, and another a 2.0-litre turbo in all-wheel-drive form. The smaller engine comes with a 6-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic while the larger one gets a 7-speed DSG auto. Seating can be 5 or 7, depending on trim level. Features include a touchscreen multimedia system, cruise control, keyless entry, ABS with EBD, a full set of airbags and all the other other usual bits and bobs.
