2006 Renault Clio

The second-generation Clio hatchback was launched as a 1999 model, and was heavily facelifted for 2002, coinciding with the release of the Turkish-built sedan version. The all-new Mark-3 Clio was already out in European markets by 2006, but the Middle East soldiered with the older Mark-2 model. Therefore in 2006, the model received a second unnoticeable facelift, and the hatchback was renamed the Clio Campus, while the sedan became the Clio Classic. The Clio is the smallest car in Renault's range, and offers buyers a number of trim options and petrol engines, in either hatchback or sedan form. The basic 1.4-litre engine powers the standard five-door hatchback and four-door sedan, with a choice of manual or automatic transmissions.
