Overview
From 2012, the design all-new Porsche 911 incorporates a completely new platform, so now the 911 is longer and lower than the previous generation. It is still a 2+2 seater coupe. The Porsche 911 GT3 was revealed in mid 2014. In 2016, a GT3 RS was made with slightly more power and less weight. The GT3 and GT3 RS gets a 3.8-litre motor and for the first time, will not have a manual gearbox option. It is available only with the 7-speed dual-clutch "PDK" transmission. The new active rear-wheel steering and the Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) Plus, are used in the 911 GT3 for the first time as standard, expanding the range of driving options considerably, completed by active engine mounts, the Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and the active damper system (PASM).
