2012 PGO Cevennes

PGO proclaims itself to be a 'French automobile craftsman' to highlight their hand-crafted aspect and small-scale production. The range expands from the Speedster II with the addition of the Cévennes. Both share the same technical foundation and differ only in style, with the Cévennes looking more modern with restyled bumpers and trim. Indeed, the overall styling is still based on the 1950s Porsche 356. However, it is powered by a recent 2.0-litre 4-cylinder Peugeot engine, with no additional tuning. The rear-mounted motor is mated to a rear-wheel-drive platform and a choice of 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic. While the car is very basic and very expensive, customisation options offer 15 paintjobs, 8 soft-top colours, 14 types of leather and 10 types of carpet.
